Arkansas Hospice is dedicated to assisting our partner, Seke Rural Health Hospice in Zimbabwe, in bringing comfort to those dying under dire circumstances.

• Arkansas Hospice has a staff of more than 300 ... Seke has 15 or fewer
• Arkansas Hospice has more than 500 volunteers ... Seke has 1,000
• Arkansas Hospice has more than 300 patients ... Seke has 4,000

Each day in sub-Saharan Africa, thousands of people

watch as their loved ones die

without the benefit of medicines

to alleviate their pain and suffering.

Much attention has been given to HIV prevention in Africa, as well it should. However, less attention has been given to the plight of those already infected, mothers and children forming the majority. Children watch their parents die ... and parents grieve over the deaths of their children.
