As you begin your journey with Arkansas Hospice, we realize you will face many difficult decisions. Hopefully, we can provide you with an answer to one of the questions you are facing, "What is a meaningful way to remember or pay tribute to my loved one?”
After receiving compassionate, quality care from Arkansas Hospice, many of our families have chosen to honor their loved one’s passing with a memorial gift. If you would like to pay homage to your loved one in this way, simply include the following sentence in their obituary, “Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice.”
As a memorial gift recipient, Arkansas Hospice will send notification of those gifts to the caregiver or family member on record. If a donor requests to remain anonymous, however, no cards are sent. Gift amounts are always confidential and are not included in notification cards.
Memorial gifts not only allow Arkansas Hospice to provide bereavement services and volunteer programs, they also let us provide the same caliber of care to all patients in need, regardless of their ability to pay. Your gift will help other grieving families in ways you may never know.
Thank you again for the opportunity to serve you and your family and for considering this option to memorialize your loved one. Should you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact me at the Arkansas Hospice Foundation.
Sincerely,
David Daniel
