Unrestricted Annual Gifts from individuals, the business community, service organizations, and foundations provide the cornerstone of philanthropic support for Arkansas Hospice. Here's a special note from Bill Woodyard IV, chair-elect of the Arkansas Hospice Foundation Board of Directors.

We offer two direct opportunities to respond by mail to support Arkansas Hospice through the Foundation’s Annual Giving Program: the first is our Annual Fund drive in May, and the second is our End-of-the-Year Letter in early November.

• End-of-life care for everyone who needs it, regardless of ability to pay;
• Grief support and bereavement services – grief education, individual and family counseling and support groups;
• General endowment to ensure future needs will be met;
• Innovative programs such as our volunteer group, Arkansas Hospice Angels, and programs such as Project SMILE and Pet Therapy;
• Expansion of hospice care and support services into rural communities; and
• Community and professional education on end-of-life issues.

Special Note About Memorials: Notification of all tribute gifts for Arkansas Hospice patients will be sent to the caregiver/family member on record, unless you request otherwise. Gift amounts are always confidential. All memorial and honorarium gifts are listed in our newsletter, unless you request to remain anonymous.
