Capital Campaign
Committee Chair

Meet Jim Bob Humphrey

Chair of Arkansas Hospice Foundation's $3,000,000 Capital Campaign

Jim Bob Humphrey was recently named Russellville's 2005 Citizen of the Year. Among his noted accomplishments, Jim Bob was recognized for his efforts in organizing the Salute to Freedom Committee which honored local soldiers and their service in Iraq. He says designing a challenge coin to honor the community's returning soldiers was one of the highlights of that project.

As Jim Bob explains it, the challenge coin is a military tradition that promotes camaraderie, recognizes good work and challenges the recipient and others to excellence. Arkansas Hospice and Arkansas Hospice Foundation congratulate Jim Bob on this important and much deserved recognition! We are so glad to have you working with us!

Jim Bob Humphrey is President and General Manager of Humphrey Funeral Service in Russellville, President of the Arkansas Funeral Directors Association, a Member of the Arkansas Burial Board, Russellville Noon Rotary Club, the National Funeral Directors Association and the Harding University Board of Trustees. He and his wife Betty have three children and one grandchild.
