  Hospice Inpatient Centers

Our inpatient centers
provide a haven
of comfort and security.

Pioneering inpatient hospice services in the state, our inpatient centers serve terminally ill patients who have physical symptoms that cannot be managed in other settings.

One inpatient centers are located at St. Vincent Doctors Hospital in Little Rock and St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs.

These centers maintain staffing ratios that exceed hospital standards with frequent physician visits in addition to the entire team of hospice nursing, pharmacy, social, spiritual and volunteer services.

Services Provided:

  1. Physician-directed care
  2. Registered nurse on site 24 hours a day
  3. Personal care 24 hours a day
  4. Social worker services for patient and family
  5. Chaplain and spiritual assistance
  6. Volunteer support
  7. Diagnosis-related medications
  8. Medical equipment and supplies
  9. Respite care for patient or caregiver
  10. Bereavement services

Hospice services are covered by Medicare or Medicaid, private insurance, private pay or charitable care. This care is provided to all in need of our services regardless of age, sex, race, creed, marital status, sexual preference, color, national origin, religion, citizenship status, veteran status, illness, handicap, disability or ability to pay.

It is possible that your loved one will improve, resulting in discharge from hospice services. Or, you may decide to stop hospice care because you believe aggressive, curative care is needed. The hospice services can easily be resumed if needed at a later time.
