Michael (51) dreamed of sitting on the beach, listening to the roar of the ocean and watching the sun slowly set below the horizon. When the doctors told him it was time to consider hospice, he knew the number of sunsets he would see were numbered. Although he was too ill to travel from Arkansas […]Choose Kindness

Fishing and family topped the list of Lily Green’s favorite things in life. For weeks, her social worker at Arkansas Hospice explored ways to give Lily some time fishing next to a creek bank. Just as air, food, and water are necessary for the body, connection is needed for the soul. When Stanley* had to move to a nursing facility, he had to leave his desk-top computer behind. For some people, a computer is a means for work, games, or online shopping. For Stanley, it was his way to […]Appetite for Life
You may have spotted one standing at the refrigerator door drinking all the milk straight from the jug. You may have witnessed him eat an afternoon snack of two king size candy bars followed by a large pizza. A box of cereal can’t make it though one day with him. If you’ve observed it or […]Whoever you are, thank you.
When four year old Oreanna was diagnosed with Batten’s Disease – a rare, fatal brain disease – her family felt their lives turn inside-out. Overwhelmed with the care she required, Arkansas Hospice provided them with a pediatric care team. A team nurse recognized the hopelessness the family felt. Through research, she found a weekend conference […]A Silver Anniversary Dinner

I have nothing but the best things to say about Arkansas Hospice. They were so good to my Dad before he passed away. The love and care, compassion they showed to my dad was priceless. The nurses and CNA’s that took care of my Dad are the best and always be the best.
We are just starting our dad’s final journey and Arkansas Hospice has been a blessing. They’ve taught us so much already and provide as much support and comfort to the family as they do my dad. I’m grateful they’ll be walking this final path with us.
I love Arkansas Hospice. Every single employee has a heart of gold and takes the best care of their patients.
I would not hesitate at all to recommend this provider for anyone who is considering hospice care for themselves or for a loved one.
Arkansas Hospice took care of my Mom before she passed. It was my first experience with any hospice and I was amazed. They took such great care of her. They treated her with dignity and respect until the end.
So many thanks for the way your staff treated my very dear friend, Jeff, as he raced toward the finish line. Words can’t express my gratitude for helping us to care for him and keep him comfortable. Top-notch professionalism and immediate responses to requests for assistance.
