Arkansas Hospice is utilizing every available resource to obtain supplies from the national stockpiles, dentist offices, funeral homes, and local vendors. While the federal government has relaxed regulations for the private sector to transition to and accelerate the manufacturing of PPE, it will take several weeks before the surge in demand for these products is met.
Due to this shortage, many of you are asking how you can help with supplies you may have on hand, or for which you have a resource.
We appreciate and thank everyone for your outpouring of kindness and help with donated supplies, however, for the safety of our patients, their families, and our employees, PPE supplies must adhere to the following criteria:
Current needs are:
Deliveries of materials that meet this criteria can be made to an Arkansas Hospice Area Office near you.
Please label the donated supplies with your name and address, and an approximate value so that we can record your donation properly. Your gift will be considered a gift in kind given through the Arkansas Hospice Foundation, and will be processed as quickly as possible as our Foundation staff is working remotely and practicing social distancing.
Due to our office staffing adhering to social distancing, please call in advance weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to arrange delivery and acceptance. A list of all our area offices with their contact information can be found HERE on our website.
Please DO NOT attempt to deliver these materials to our inpatient centers. Donated or sourced materials will be distributed to provide care to patients in need through our internal channels.

Thank you for your help with PPE materials and providing care while protecting our patients, their families, and our employees.
I have nothing but the best things to say about Arkansas Hospice. They were so good to my Dad before he passed away. The love and care, compassion they showed to my dad was priceless. The nurses and CNA’s that took care of my Dad are the best and always be the best.
We are just starting our dad’s final journey and Arkansas Hospice has been a blessing. They’ve taught us so much already and provide as much support and comfort to the family as they do my dad. I’m grateful they’ll be walking this final path with us.
I love Arkansas Hospice. Every single employee has a heart of gold and takes the best care of their patients.
I would not hesitate at all to recommend this provider for anyone who is considering hospice care for themselves or for a loved one.
Arkansas Hospice took care of my Mom before she passed. It was my first experience with any hospice and I was amazed. They took such great care of her. They treated her with dignity and respect until the end.
So many thanks for the way your staff treated my very dear friend, Jeff, as he raced toward the finish line. Words can’t express my gratitude for helping us to care for him and keep him comfortable. Top-notch professionalism and immediate responses to requests for assistance.
