When fourteen year old Savannah was asked for her big wish by her social worker with Arkansas Hospice, she requested a great adventure. She wanted to ride a horse, stay in a nice hotel and make memories with her family and best friend.
Arkansas Hospice Foundation worked with her family and donors to make this wish come true. Along with her parents, her seven year old brother and her best friend, Savannah set out for her great adventure in Branson.
Their first stop was Dogwood Canyon where she rode a horse and was treated like a VIP with a private wildlife tram tour. Later that night Savanah fell asleep in her nice hotel room at Chateau on the Lake.
What’s a trip to Branson without attending one the many shows? Savannah asked to attend a magic show where her little brother could enjoy one of his favorite interests. The next evening, the family continued their equestrian adventure at Dixie Stampede. They all had a big laugh when her little brother was chosen to chase a chicken across the arena.
Like any two fourteen year old BFFs, the girls chose to commemorate their trip with souvenirs of matching shirts and lip gloss.
At the end of the trip, if you asked Savannah she would tell you that sharing dreams, laughs, and memories with the ones you love turned out to be the greatest adventure of all.

I have nothing but the best things to say about Arkansas Hospice. They were so good to my Dad before he passed away. The love and care, compassion they showed to my dad was priceless. The nurses and CNA’s that took care of my Dad are the best and always be the best.
We are just starting our dad’s final journey and Arkansas Hospice has been a blessing. They’ve taught us so much already and provide as much support and comfort to the family as they do my dad. I’m grateful they’ll be walking this final path with us.
I love Arkansas Hospice. Every single employee has a heart of gold and takes the best care of their patients.
I would not hesitate at all to recommend this provider for anyone who is considering hospice care for themselves or for a loved one.
Arkansas Hospice took care of my Mom before she passed. It was my first experience with any hospice and I was amazed. They took such great care of her. They treated her with dignity and respect until the end.
So many thanks for the way your staff treated my very dear friend, Jeff, as he raced toward the finish line. Words can’t express my gratitude for helping us to care for him and keep him comfortable. Top-notch professionalism and immediate responses to requests for assistance.
