“For most of us working in hospice, it is so much more than a job, it’s a commitment to making an impact on the lives of patients we care for and their families.” — Don Schumacher
In recognition of Hospice and Palliative Care month, we salute and give thanks for all who work at Arkansas Palliative Care and Arkansas Hospice to make a difference. Dr Brian Bell, MD and Medical Director for Arkansas Hospice and Dr. Neal Wyatt, DO and Associate Medical Director, share great insights in a special 2-part podcast series, Speaking of Grief to 1) Dispel Myths of Hospice and 2) Know When is it Time to Make the Call. I urge you to take a moment to reflect and tune into these special topics as we celebrate our work this month.
We highlight these compelling conversations moderated by Jamie Boshears, Bereavement Specialist, as we celebrate and recognize the hard work and care that goes into both palliative care and hospice. You will recognize similarities and differences with a mutual goal to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families.
Thank you to these two distinguished physicians who work tirelessly to this end. And thank you to ALL of the many employees of Arkansas Palliative Care and Arkansas Hospice. Take a bow, tune into the Speaking of Grief podcast and know that you are truly making a difference. With a grateful heart, we THANK YOU!
Want to share what we do?
