Arkansas Palliative Care

Support and comfort beyond treatment

We help patients and their families manage life with a serious or chronic illness. As a nonprofit, community-based healthcare service, our goal is simple: your highest quality of life.

Hospice and palliative care are both provided by a team of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists. The similarities include:

  • Symptom management.
  • Understandable presentation of treatment options.
  • Meeting goals of care.
  • Help navigating the complicated healthcare system.
  • Identification of needs and direction of additional resources for spiritual or emotional care.

The difference with palliative care, is that it’s available at any stage of a patient’s chronic or serious illness. Patients can access palliative care while still receiving curative care.

Palliative care is very similar to hospice care, with the difference being the patient can still pursue curative treatment concurrent with symptom management.
