Visitors to all our inpatient centers must be screened for exposure to COVID-19 prior to entry. An Arkansas Hospice clinician will be stationed at each inpatient entry to very that visitors meet the following criteria:
In the last 14 days, have you had contact with someone diagnosed with or under investigation for COVID-19, or are ill with respiratory illness?
Do you have signs/symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as fever (100.4), cough, shortness of breath, and sore throat?
Do you have vomiting and/or diarrhea?
Have you had travel within the last 14 days?
Visitor policy has been updated to include:
Approval per screening criteria is met.
Visits are limited to two visitors per patient, per day.
One visitor is allowed overnight stay, pending screening clearance and entry to unit before 9:00 p.m.
Arkansas Hospice visitor policy is subject clinical protocols and visitation policies at hospitals, which are subject to change.
Case by case exceptions may be allowed based on a patient’s end of life condition, and are made at the discretion of Arkansas Hospice clinical staff.
