North Little Rock, Ark. (Feb. 5, 2021) – Arkansas Hospice and Blue Cake Company have baked up “Cookies of Kindness” to support the mission of the state’s largest nonprofit hospice care provider.
Now through the end of February, a special arrangement of six Valentine heart shaped sugar cookies with encouraging messages of love and hope are available for purchase. Cookies for Kindness can be purchased online at www.arkansashospice.org/cookiesofkindess, or directly from Blue Cake Company stores located at 315 N. Bowman and 6800 Cantrell in Little Rock. The cost is $20.00 per set, and a portion of the proceeds support the mission of Arkansas Hospice. Since the cookies are baked upon order to ensure freshness upon pickup, a two day notice from order to pickup is required.
Arkansas Hospice Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer Shannon Boshears said “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Blue Cake Company with such a sweet opportunity. The cookies are absolutely delicious. The gift set makes a perfect Valentine’s Day gift that will bring joy to anyone’s friends, family, spouse, partner, or co-workers.”
According to Blue Cake Company, the cookies are “Made by hand and baked with love,” adding that each premium sugar cookie is decorated with royal icing. The gift set is designed to make a perfect Valentine’s Day gift that will bring joy to anyone’s friends, family, spouse, partner, or co-workers.

I have nothing but the best things to say about Arkansas Hospice. They were so good to my Dad before he passed away. The love and care, compassion they showed to my dad was priceless. The nurses and CNA’s that took care of my Dad are the best and always be the best.
We are just starting our dad’s final journey and Arkansas Hospice has been a blessing. They’ve taught us so much already and provide as much support and comfort to the family as they do my dad. I’m grateful they’ll be walking this final path with us.
I love Arkansas Hospice. Every single employee has a heart of gold and takes the best care of their patients.
I would not hesitate at all to recommend this provider for anyone who is considering hospice care for themselves or for a loved one.
Arkansas Hospice took care of my Mom before she passed. It was my first experience with any hospice and I was amazed. They took such great care of her. They treated her with dignity and respect until the end.
So many thanks for the way your staff treated my very dear friend, Jeff, as he raced toward the finish line. Words can’t express my gratitude for helping us to care for him and keep him comfortable. Top-notch professionalism and immediate responses to requests for assistance.
