What: The fourth annual Party at the Plaza benefiting the Arkansas Hospice Family of Care. The 2025 festival theme is “Arkansas Roots,” featuring standout musical acts, visual artists, and community services that call Arkansas home. The event will be a community-oriented celebration for all ages with free concerts throughout the afternoon and evening, food trucks, children’s activities, and a fun and informative “Care Fair.” Additional attractions will include artwork for purchase and the presentation of the fourth annual Michael V. Aureli Compass Award to recently retired Arkansas Hospice President & CEO Judy Wooten in recognition of her dedication to the organization’s mission for more than two decades.
When: Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Where: Argenta Plaza, Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Who should attend: Everyone! General admission will be free with additional ticket options available for purchase at https://www.arkansashospice.org/plazatickets.
Who is involved: Party at the Plaza’s 2025 event co-chairs are Jennifer O’Brien, author of The Hospice Doctor’s Widow: A Journal and Care Boss: Leadership Strategies & Resources for Family Caregivers who also serves on the Arkansas Hospice Board of Directors, and Vivian Trickey Smith, a long-time Arkansas Hospice supporter who currently serves on the Arkansas Hospice Foundation Board.
Musical acts scheduled to appear in concert on the Plaza Mainstage include:
· Arkansauce, the event’s headline act
· Sofie and the New Relics
· Rodney Block Collective
· Butterfly from New Orleans
· The Rocktown Sparks
Why: Arkansas Hospice Chief Philanthropy Officer Kim Kirkman said, “We’re excited to return to the Argenta Arts District again this year for this wonderful event. Arkansas Hospice is the largest non-profit hospice in the state, and Party at the Plaza raises awareness of and supports our mission to bring comfort and compassion to patients and families facing serious illness throughout our 44-county service area.” Sponsorships are still available for this event, with funds generated supporting the greatest needs for the mission of Arkansas Hospice’s Family of Care.
