Arkansauce calls forth melodies of the Ozark Mountains’ rolling hills and raging rivers with their distinct blend of newgrass. This progressive string quartet features Tom Andersen on bass, guitarist Zac Archuleta, Ethan Bush on mandolin, and Adams Collins on banjo. Their music features improvisational string leads matched with complex melodies, intriguing rhythms, and deep thumping bass grooves. Each member sings lead and harmony parts

Sofie and The New Relics are an emerging band out of Central Arkansas. With Sofie Smithson leading the way with her strong, soulful vocals, the band mixes country and southern rock in a way that feels fresh while still staying true to those classic country roots.

SNR brings their own spin on the sounds they love, and each member adds their own flavor to make something unique. They’ve been turning heads lately, especially after hitting a huge milestone—opening for ’90s country legends Sawyer Brown at the Ryman Auditorium in February 2025.

Judy Wooten will be honored with the Michael V. Aureli Compass Award. As Judy enters retirement from more than 20 years of service to Arkansas Hospice, with 14 served as President & CEO, she leaves an incredible legacy of leadership and service that has touched each and every employee throughout her tenure. 

The Arkansas Hospice Foundation is proud to honor Judy with the 2025 Michael V. Aureli Compass Award. Join us at Party at the Plaza on April 26th for a special award presentation.

A staple of the local jazz and funk scene, The Rodney Block Collective are mainstays at the Little Rock River Market’s Jazz in the Park each April and September, as well as featured players in clubs and venues around central Arkansas.


3:25 p.m.

Katrice “BUTTERFLY” Newbill, originating from New Orleans, shines as a solo act post-Katrina, skilled across Reggae, R&B, Gospel, and more since 1990. Influenced by her father, a former music producer, Butterfly has performed at notable venues and festivals, collaborated with Grammy winners, and opened for famous artists. Beyond performing, she coordinates events, earning the Mtzeni Award and multiple accolades for her contributions to entertainment. Her dynamic vocal talent captivates, embodying the essence of New Orleans with every performance.


2:00 p.m.

The Rocktown Sparks is rocking crowds with a mix of music ranging from vinyl classics to the newest streaming hits. They span in age from millennials to boomers and deliver a blend of raw energy and musical experience unlike anything else across the region.

Their style breathes new life into the songs you know and love by the likes of Tom Petty, Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel, and more while incorporating the freshness of songs by Dua Lipa and Teddy Swims.

The band has emerged from standout performances at The Arkansas State Fair, Simmons Bank PGA Tournament, and as “The Official House Band of Party at the Plaza.”
